Perrysburg, Ohio July 11, 2012
The Northwest Ohio Conservative Coalition, a local political action committee, has launched the first in a series of billboards designed to promote conservative principles around jobs, effective government and economic prosperity. The billboard, located at the corner of Washington and Monroe in Toledo, states, “Ohio voted for Healthcare Freedom, Not Obamacare. Repeal, Replace and Remember in November”.
“Ohioans don’t want Obamacare, and we made that loud and clear with our vote”, stated Liz Cope, NWOCC Marketing Coordinator. “We are drifting further and further away from the founding principles of our country, and the NWOCC is focused on driving a conversation around that. This billboard is just the beginning of our campaigning”, she said.
Further message based initiatives are currently in the planning and development stages, but will launch throughout the summer and into November. “We hope that our campaigns will help people realize that the conservative message is a common sense message – and based on the principles that make our country great”, said John McAvoy, NWOCC Board Member.
